People Advisor is recruiting a talented and creative Content Strategist & Scriptwriter to join its creative team in Lagos.

The successful candidate will work closely with a recognised talent, supporting the development, planning, and execution of engaging content across digital and social media platforms.

This role is suitable for a creative professional with strong writing abilities, content strategy experience, and the ability to consistently develop fresh ideas that resonate with audiences.

The Content Strategist & Scriptwriter will be responsible for ideating and writing content while occasionally supporting and supervising the production process.

The position requires someone who can work quickly and consistently without compromising creativity, quality, or the overall identity of the talent or brand.

This is a full-time hybrid position, with employees expected to work onsite for three days and work from home for two days each week.

The role is based in Ajao Estate, Anthony Village, Lagos.

Requirements

Experience working with a recognised talent, public figure, brand, or content creator will be considered an advantage.

The successful candidate should have exceptional scriptwriting abilities and be comfortable creating both short-form and long-form content.

Applicants should also have a strong understanding of how content performs across major digital and social media platforms.

The role requires a highly creative thinker who can consistently generate fresh, relevant, and engaging content ideas.

Strong organisational and project management skills are important, as the successful candidate will be expected to manage content schedules and coordinate different aspects of production.

Candidates should be able to develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with the talent’s brand identity, audience, goals, and the requirements of different platforms.

The ability to identify content trends, understand audience interests, and recognise opportunities across digital platforms is also important for this position.

Applicants should be able to write clear, engaging, and effective scripts while maintaining a consistent voice that reflects the talent’s personality and brand.

The successful candidate will also work with videographers, editors, and other creatives to support the smooth execution of content production.

Basic knowledge of video creation, editing, and post-production is considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The Content Strategist & Scriptwriter will develop and manage a content calendar that supports the talent’s content goals and overall brand identity.

The successful candidate will research content trends, audience insights, and platform opportunities to develop relevant ideas for digital and social media content.

You will write engaging scripts for videos and other content formats while ensuring that the tone and messaging remain consistent with the talent’s voice.

The role also involves overseeing content production from the initial concept stage through to final delivery.

You may coordinate with videographers, editors, and other members of the creative team to ensure that projects are completed smoothly and delivered on schedule.

The successful candidate may occasionally provide light video creation, editing, and post-production support when required.

Final content will also be reviewed to ensure that it is high-quality, on-brand, engaging, and suitable for the intended platform and audience.
