This role involves working with large collections of photographs and ensuring that images are properly selected, organised, edited, and prepared according to project requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a consistent editing style across multiple galleries while meeting agreed deadlines.

The position is offered on a full-time basis and provides an opportunity for an experienced photo editor to work on professional photography projects.

The successful candidate will edit and retouch photographs using professional editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.

The role includes performing colour correction and colour grading to ensure that photographs have a professional and visually consistent appearance.

Editors will also make adjustments to exposure, white balance, sharpness, cropping, and other important image elements where necessary.

The successful applicant may be required to remove distractions, minor imperfections, and other unwanted elements while maintaining the natural quality of the original image.

A major part of the role is maintaining a consistent editing style across galleries and ensuring that the final images meet the required creative and technical standards.

The Photo Editor will also export and deliver completed images according to project specifications and client requirements.

Candidates will be expected to meet editing deadlines, communicate their progress professionally, and follow established file management and backup procedures.

Requirements

Applicants should have proven experience editing professional photography and be comfortable handling different types of image editing projects.
