Opendashboard is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level Motion Designer to join its growing team.

The successful candidate will create high-quality motion graphics, static designs, and edited video content for marketing, social media, product communication, campaigns, and other brand needs.

This opportunity is suitable for someone with strong visual taste, solid execution skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

The position is offered on a temporary contract basis and is fully remote.

The Motion Designer will contribute to the visual experience of products used by businesses while helping shape how users interact with design and automation.

This role also provides practical experience working across motion design, graphic design, video editing, marketing content, and product communication.

Creative professionals will have the opportunity to develop their portfolio while working on real projects within a technology-focused environment.

Requirements

Applicants should have approximately 1–3 years of professional or strong freelance experience in motion design, graphic design, video editing, or a similar creative role.

Candidates should have a strong portfolio demonstrating experience in motion graphics, graphic design, and video editing.

A good understanding of typography, composition, layout, colour, pacing, and visual storytelling is important for this role.

Applicants should be proficient with creative tools including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.

Candidates should be able to work independently, communicate effectively in a remote environment, and manage multiple creative requests while meeting agreed deadlines.

A reliable internet connection and access to a computer capable of handling motion design and video editing workloads are required.

The successful candidate should be comfortable receiving feedback, translating feedback into revisions, and completing creative work without excessive supervision.

Experience with Figma, Blender, 3D animation, product animations, UI animations, Lottie, sound design, or audio editing will be an added advantage.

Experience creating content for technology companies or startups, as well as an understanding of social media content formats and trends, is also desirable.

Opendashboard places greater emphasis on the quality of your work than formal qualifications. Applicants should demonstrate strong visual taste, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to execute ideas effectively.

Candidates should also communicate clearly when requirements are unclear or when they encounter challenges during a project.
