The role combines data collection, database management, digital systems support, and information management to support the organisation’s programmes and activities.

The successful candidate will help ensure that programme information is properly collected, entered, managed, reviewed, and maintained across REJA Initiative’s digital platforms.

The position is suitable for candidates with backgrounds in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Information Management, Social Sciences, and related fields.

The successful candidate will also support field-level data collection and work with mobile applications and databases to maintain accurate and reliable information for programme activities, analysis, and reporting.

The position is based in Abuja and is offered on a full-time, hybrid basis.

Requirements

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Candidates should have relevant experience in data collection, data entry, database management, IT support, or a related role.

The successful candidate should possess strong computer skills and be comfortable working with digital platforms and technology-based systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant data-management tools is required for the position.

Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when entering, reviewing, and managing information.

Good analytical and organisational skills are also important, as the role requires candidates to identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and duplicate entries.

Applicants should be confident working with digital systems and capable of supporting accurate documentation of programme activities.

Key Responsibilities

The IT & Data Officer will input and update data entries using REJA Initiative’s mobile applications and other digital systems.

The successful candidate will ensure that information entered into the organisation’s systems is complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines.

The role will also involve conducting field-level data collection and ensuring that information gathered from programme activities is properly documented.

The officer will regularly review information entered into mobile applications and databases to identify errors, inconsistencies, missing information, and duplicate records.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the organisation’s digital systems, data collection, management, analysis, and reporting activities.
