SparkXplorer is seeking a Scholar Success Manager (SSM) to help ensure that scholars and their families receive an excellent learning experience from onboarding through their ongoing tutoring programmes.

The Scholar Success Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for scholars and parents or guardians while supporting engagement, satisfaction, retention, and overall learning success.

The successful candidate will work closely with scholars, families, tutors, and the internal SparkXplorer team to identify concerns, resolve issues, monitor progress, and maintain a positive learning experience.

The position also provides an opportunity to work directly with scholars, parents, tutors, and internal teams while developing professional communication and problem-solving skills.

Employees will also gain experience monitoring learning outcomes and using feedback and engagement information to improve the overall scholar experience.

The role is fully remote, providing flexibility while requiring effective communication, organization, and accountability.

Requirements

Candidates should have strong communication and relationship-management skills, with the ability to build professional and trusting relationships with scholars and their families.

The successful candidate should be able to respond promptly and professionally to enquiries, concerns, and feedback from scholars and parents or guardians.

Applicants should be organized and capable of coordinating scholar onboarding, schedules, tutors, learning expectations, and available support.

The role requires the ability to monitor attendance, engagement, satisfaction, academic progress, and retention and follow up when additional support may be required.

Candidates should be comfortable working with tutors and parents to address scheduling, communication, compatibility, and service-related concerns.

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and be able to take ownership of complaints from initial contact through resolution.

Applicants should also be able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy, escalate complex issues when necessary, and document complaints and resolutions accurately.

Strong administrative and reporting skills are important, as the role involves maintaining accurate scholar records and preparing regular Scholar Success reports for management.

Candidates should also be able to track and report key metrics such as scholar retention, attendance, satisfaction, engagement, and complaints.

The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with tutors, parents, scholars, and internal teams is essential for the position.
