Developers will have the opportunity to grow with the product from the backend level while gaining practical experience solving real technical problems.

As the project grows, there may be opportunities for equity, revenue sharing, future compensation, and long-term technical leadership.

The position also provides an opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment where developers are encouraged to contribute ideas, improve systems, and build rather than simply follow instructions.

Requirements

Applicants should have experience with or an interest in Node.js and TypeScript.

Candidates should have experience building or maintaining backend systems and APIs, with the ability to understand and solve technical problems independently.

Experience working with PostgreSQL, queues, or cron jobs is an advantage.

Knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda, or similar cloud technologies, is also beneficial.

Applicants with an understanding of scalable architecture, serverless systems, or background processing will be well suited to the role.

The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to learn, figure things out, and continuously improve their technical skills.

Candidates should communicate clearly, work independently, and be comfortable taking ownership of technical tasks and making decisions.

Applicants should also be willing to learn new tools, improve existing codebases, and think about backend systems from a broader architectural perspective.

At least 1 year of Node.js experience is required.
