This internship provides an opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in public relations, marketing, advertising, social media, content creation, and communications.

The role provides an opportunity to work on real brand communication projects and develop practical skills in public relations, advertising, social media, and creative communications.

Interns will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while gaining exposure to the processes involved in developing campaigns and communicating with target audiences.

The position also provides an opportunity to strengthen writing, conceptual thinking, media communication, and content development skills.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid environment, allowing for both workplace collaboration and flexibility.

The internship comes with a monthly net salary of approximately ₦60,000 to ₦65,000.

Requirements

Applicants should have recently completed a degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Candidates should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively.

Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required. Familiarity with Canva is also expected.

Applicants should be familiar with social media platforms and social media monitoring tools, as well as the role these platforms play in modern brand communication.

A portfolio demonstrating strong writing, advertising, and conceptual abilities will be an advantage and should showcase the candidate’s creative capabilities.

Candidates should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team while managing assigned tasks responsibly.

A good understanding of current PR industry trends and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the communications industry are important for this role.

Basic knowledge of media relations and journalist etiquette is also required.
