About the Role
The IT Infrastructure Support Intern will assist with the management, maintenance, monitoring, and support of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
The intern will support both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
The role will also involve assisting with the setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines used for application deployment.
Interns will monitor system performance, uptime, and security while assisting with responses to technical incidents, outages, and infrastructure-related issues.
The successful candidate may also help automate repetitive tasks using scripting tools such as Python and Bash.
Other responsibilities include supporting Infrastructure as Code implementations, system upgrades, patches, backups, routine maintenance, and documentation of infrastructure configurations and troubleshooting procedures.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
Familiarity with Linux or Unix system administration is also required, while exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
Applicants should have basic knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and version control, as well as familiarity with Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Python, Bash, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible will be an added advantage.
Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication, and teamwork abilities.
