The role provides practical experience in content writing, SEO, digital marketing, technology education, and website content creation.
Writers will also have the opportunity to collaborate with trainers and designers, gaining insight into how educational content is transformed into engaging digital materials.
The position can help candidates build their writing portfolio by producing blog posts, course descriptions, email newsletters, website copy, and social media content.

Responsibilities
The Content Writer will create engaging content for learners across different digital platforms, including blog posts, course descriptions, email newsletters, website copy, and social media.
The successful candidate will simplify technology topics such as Digital Marketing, Web Design, Python Programming, and Graphics Design into clear and beginner-friendly content.
The role will also involve conducting keyword research, optimising articles for search engines, and using appropriate headings and metadata to improve online visibility.
Writers will be expected to research topics carefully, fact-check information, and provide accurate sources where necessary.
The Content Writer will also work with trainers and the design team to transform classroom insights and expertise into useful content that can attract and convert learners.
Requirements
Applicants should have excellent writing, grammar, storytelling, and communication skills.
Candidates should be comfortable writing both long-form content, such as 1,000-word blog articles, and short-form content such as social media captions.
A strong interest in technology and education is required. Applicants do not necessarily need to be developers but should enjoy learning about technology-related subjects.
Candidates should have a basic understanding of SEO, keyword research, headings, meta titles, and meta descriptions.
Applicants should be fast and accurate researchers who can fact-check information and cite reliable sources.
Proficiency with Google Docs and WordPress or other CMS platforms is required.
Experience using SEO tools such as Ubersuggest, Ahrefs, or SurferSEO will be an added advantage.
Candidates should have a portfolio containing 2–3 relevant writing samples, preferably blog posts, articles, or website copy.
Experience writing for edtech companies, training centres, or B2C brands is an advantage. Familiarity with the tone and preferences of Nigerian audiences is also desirable.
