The role involves curating trending stories across fashion, entertainment, politics, and current affairs and presenting them in formats that appeal to the company’s audience.
The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills and be comfortable working with tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar editing platforms.
This is a full-time opportunity for a social media professional who can consistently create and publish content while working with minimal supervision.
The position is open to applicants based in Nigeria and offers a flexible remote working arrangement.

Responsibilities
The Social Media Handler will repost and repurpose blog content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X/Twitter.
The role will also involve creating and editing short-form videos and graphics for original social media posts using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar tools.
The successful candidate will research and curate trending content around fashion, entertainment, politics, and current events that is relevant to the company’s audience.
They will maintain a consistent daily and weekly posting schedule while ensuring that content is published on time across the company’s social platforms.
Video content should be properly prepared with captions, subtitles, and relevant branding elements before publication.
The role also requires monitoring viral formats and emerging trends to ensure that the company’s content remains timely, relevant, and engaging.
The successful candidate will engage with comments and direct messages while helping to build and maintain an active online community.
Basic engagement metrics should also be monitored, with strong-performing content identified and reported to the relevant team.
Requirements
Applicants should have at least 1–2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, blog, media platform, or similar organisation.
Candidates must have strong video and photo editing skills and be comfortable using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or similar software.
A strong news sense is important, as the successful candidate should be able to quickly identify and curate relevant trending stories.
Applicants should be comfortable researching information and verifying content before publishing it on social media platforms.
Basic copywriting skills are required for creating engaging captions, while familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Later is an advantage.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of current affairs, fashion, entertainment, viral trends, and social media culture.
The ideal candidate should be reliable, consistent, organised, and capable of posting daily without close supervision.
