30 Century is looking for a Multimedia & Visual Learning Designer to help bring online courses to life through high-quality presentations, videos, course graphics, and other visual learning materials.

The company already has strong course content and structure, increasingly supported by AI. The successful candidate will turn this raw material into premium, polished, visually engaging learning content that does not look generic or template-based. A strong portfolio is considered more important than years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Visual Design

• Design PowerPoint presentations with strong layouts, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Create eye-catching course thumbnails and promotional graphics using Canva.
• Maintain consistent, high-quality visual branding across course materials.

Video Editing

• Edit course recordings by cutting and trimming footage.
• Add titles, captions, and simple motion graphics.
• Improve the pacing and overall polish of raw footage.
• Ensure videos meet a high quality standard before publication.

Learning Content Support

• Turn drafted or AI-assisted course content into structured, well-designed modules and lessons.
• Upload, organize, and publish content within the company’s LMS.
• Review learning materials to ensure visual and quality consistency before publication.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio showcasing your best design and video editing work.
• Strong practical skills in Canva and PowerPoint, including layout, colour, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Video editing experience using CapCut, Premiere Pro, Filmora, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Ability to work with rough drafts or AI-generated content and transform them into polished visual materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple pieces of content at the same time.

Nice-to-Have Skills

The following are advantageous but not mandatory:

• Motion graphics or animation experience.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Moodle, LearnDash, Thinkific, TalentLMS, Canvas, or Teachable.
• Experience with instructional design or e-learning content.
• Knowledge of Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or similar course-authoring tools.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 90 days, the successful candidate is expected to:

• Improve the visual quality of multiple course modules and video assets.
• Establish a repeatable visual style and template system that can be scaled across courses.
• Build a library of course thumbnails and presentations that reflects a consistent, premium brand.
• Become the person the company can trust to make learning content “publish-ready” from a design standpoint.
