The Opportunity

As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will support the Product team in creating intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly digital experiences for web and mobile applications. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects and collaborate with professionals across product management, design, and development.

The role will allow you to apply design principles in practical situations while learning how professional product teams research, design, review, test, and improve digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Conduct basic user research and competitor research to support design decisions.
• Design responsive screens that follow established design guidelines.
• Support the maintenance of the company’s design system and component library.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings.
• Revise and improve designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
• Create simple visual assets such as icons and illustrations when required.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles.
• Familiarity with Figma.
• Understanding of typography, colour, spacing, and layout.
• A portfolio showcasing personal, academic, or freelance design work is an advantage.
• Strong willingness to learn, improve, and develop professionally.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce polished design work.
